Routine Eye Examinations
Comprehensive Eye Examinations to evaluate the health of the eyes and to determine the best possible prescription for eyeglasses of any kind. Our doctors can tailor make a prescription for you from something as simple as a single vision pair of distance or reading glasses. They can prescribe you line bifocals or no line progressive lenses or even a specialty lens designed for a set particular distance. Even if you have never had an eye exam before, our doctors can evaluate your vision and overall health of your eyes.
Contact Lens Examinations and First-Time Fittings
In addition to the comprehensive eye examination, our doctors can also fit you in to almost any type of spherical or astigmatic contact lens you need. We offer daily, bi-weekly, monthly or even Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) contact lens fitting. New to contact lenses? Don’t worry, our staff can teach you how to insert and remove contact lenses in office and in most cases have you going home with lenses to try that same day!

Keratoconus Evaluation and Treatment
Keratoconus is a progressive eye condition that affects the cornea, which is the clear, dome-shaped front surface of the eye. In keratoconus, the cornea gradually thins and bulges into a cone-like shape, leading to visual distortion and impairment. This irregular shape of the cornea causes light to be scattered and focused unevenly onto the retina, resulting in blurred and distorted vision.
The exact cause of keratoconus is not fully understood, but it is believed to involve a combination of genetic factors and environmental influences. It typically starts during the teenage years or early adulthood and progresses gradually over time.
Our doctors are trained in the early detection of Keratoconus and will make sure you are educated in the best course of action from soft or rigid contact lenses to treatments such as corneal cross-linking or transplant.
Astigmatism
Astigmatism is a common vision condition that affects the way the eye focuses light. This results in blurred or distorted vision at any distance. It occurs when the cornea or lens of the eye is shaped abnormally, causing light to be bent differently in different directions. This leads to multiple focus points instead of a single point of focus on the retina, leading to a distorted image.
Astigmatism can often be corrected with eyeglasses or contact lenses that have specific curvatures to counteract the irregular shape of the cornea. In some cases, refractive surgery such as LASIK can also be used to reshape the cornea and improve vision. Let our doctors help you decide the best course of action to treat your Astigmatism.
